Found Art in Oil Well Prospect Mapping, 1935

JF Ptak Science Books  Quick Post

These diagrams of oil well surveys (printed ca. 1935) have a very fine found-art appeal to me–frankly, if hey existed apart from the printed text, I would not have known what they were or represented.  They do remind me quite a bit of labanotation.
