Car ambulance012
This small techno-snipet was found in the August 1930 issue of Popular Mechanics and describes what must be a solitary expedition onto the French highways in search of broken autos.  The “ambulance” would troll the roads looking for stranded motorists, and then would stop and employ its mobile garage to set things right.
