First Anniversary

January 26th  marked the end of the first year of this blog.  This has been the best writing exercise I’ve ever had–it has taught me a lot about the discipline of writing and how to arrange my bouncing thoughts.   I’ve made 488 posts public with 75 or so that are in various stages of completion or exasperation, and have written about 300k words.

My inspiration for all of this is found in my brilliant wife Patti Digh, who as usual is instrumental in pointing out new and interesting Things That Should Be Done, and then leads by example.  Thank you, Patti.
