Notice of addition
I’ve found another excellent New York City under attack image to complement those in an earlier post here (New York City: Attacked by Tentacled Flying Saucers, Giant Flying Snakes, Glaciers, and Mining Missile Space Aliens, 1929-1941), this time by a 3-Earth-tall Gagantua. Actually this image fits into another, smaller, even more odd sub category, Extra Earths–images showing Earth-based scenes with (somehow) the Earth in the background.
