"London Smoke, Log Cabin, Leadville, Madonna, Naked, Pitchpine, Pompeii, Prelate, Smoked Pearl, Swamp, Lucky Stone" ... sounds like a Land's End catalog. Is Log Cabin evocative of maple syrup (diluted, then colored again)? And Naked is a presumptuous assignation: I conjured many colors, all delightful. Maybe it was intended to name ANY delightful color? Being downriver from Leadville, I have a certain color in mind for that. I don't know what to make of Prelate, but I'm thinking it's creepy. We won't discuss Naked Prelate.
