This is widely seen as the first German history of the Nazi atomic bomb project. One interesting thing that pops out here is what may be the not often considered meeting that the scientists had with A. Speer in 1942 in which it was decided to not pursue a bomb but rather a reactor that could power a naval vessel and then at some point be used in the making of a nuclear weapon.
