Maury Maverick, Concerning Flag Flown Over Berlin on July 20 by President Truman. 11x8.5", offset, 8 leaves, staple bound. Provenance: Library of Congress, Pamphlet Collections. Gift to the Library from Maury Maverick (accepted August 7, 1945), so stamped and indicated on the back of the covering page; also, there is an index card establishing the pamphlet as a gift from Maverick (as the Chairman and GM of the Smaller War Plants corporation), and dated August 7, 1945, paper clipped to the second page. Condition: Very Good, with a small coffee or tea stain on the front page, as well as the 6mm perforated "LC" stamp; lastly there is a "surplus/duplicate rubber stamp from the LC on the rear page. There are no copies located in WorldCat/OCLC, and only one reference to it on Google (to the Congressional Record article on the piece, reproduced (in part) below). $175
