For Whose Pleasure Shall They Die? An Appeal for Ukrainians Suffering under Polish Rule, pretty much answers its own title in the sub-title. The pamphlet was published by the Ukrainian Defence Committee (NYC) in 1922 and was a mass appeal for understanding of what was going on in Ukraine instigated by Poland. It was published by the Ukrainian Defence Committee (30 E 7th Street), and ran only 14pp. There's a review of what was going on with the Ruthenian peasantry, a defense of Ukraine being the "bulwark of Christianity" and not Poland, and sections titled "Impunity of Polish Aristocracy" and "Poland, a Lawless World". But it is really just in the last two pages where there are real charges laid, some of which are of high genocidal order.
There are three copies of this pamphlet located in WorldCat/OCLC. Scarce. SOLD
