I saved this image for the real Boxing Day, and then of course promptly forgot it--I've missed the day, though perhaps it really doesn't matter, because even though it isn't 'boxing", it is "boxing".

The boxing in question in this fantastic image is the Jack Dempsey-Billy Miske Heavyweight Championship Fight on 6 September 1920. Jack Dempsey retained his heavyweight crown by knocking out Billy Miske in the third round of this scheduled 10-round fight (the first to be broadcast by radio) before the crowd of 11,700--the impressiveness of the meeting hammered home with this 360⁰ panorama.
